New Classes and New Growth at the Institute of Music and Dance
October 15, 2019 @ 8:00 am - December 31, 2019 @ 5:00 pm
The Institute of Music and Dance (IMD) is growing! While offering the same great dance and music classes community members have loved for years, the IMD now offers a wide range of visual arts classes as well. Kids can learn the basics of arts and design, printmaking or digital photography. Moms can bring their toddlers and use art to learn math skills. Adults can play jazz, or drop in to paint, or participate in a storytelling group.
Originally founded in 1914 as the Detroit Institute of Musical Art, the Institute of Music & Dance (IMD), is a year-round school of the arts providing students of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds high quality programs in music, dance, theater and visual arts.
