Deadline June 30: Apply for the Diversity in Development – Detroit Loan Fund

Capital Impact Partners’ Diversity in Development – Detroit Loan Fund application is now open through June 30! If you are a real estate developer of color in Detroit, be sure to apply; interested candidates must be locally based, identify as racial or ethnic minorities and have projects with at least five residential units in the city of Detroit.

Applications and all requested materials should be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30. Required materials include:
  • Current Project Budget (sources and uses)
  • Current 5‑Year Cash Flow Projections
  • Historical Financial Statements (applicable if you are rehabilitating an operating property)
  • Project Timeline
  • Development Team Statement(s) of Qualifications

If you have already applied, please be sure that you have submitted the complete list of required documents.

After June 30, they will review all applications and determine which projects are ready to move forward through their lending process. They expect to notify applicants whether or not they are moving forward in July.
