CEDAM and our partners are hosting the annual Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) training August 24, 2021. With significant changes to the 2022–2023 QAP,  you won’t want to miss this event as we:

Governor Whitmer signs bill to appropriate remaining rental assistance funds

Today, Governor Whitmer signed a bill to invest $2.2 billion in federal COVID-19 relief funding to support individuals, families, and businesses struggling as a result of the pandemic. The bill includes the remainder of the CARES Act funding—$378.3 million—to fund the COVID Emergency Rental Assistance (CERA) program. CERA assists renter households at or below 80% of the area median income, with rental and utility assistance payments, housing stability services, and case management to eligible renter households impacted by COVID-19.
