Support, Invest, Engage: A Resource List for Non-Black Co-Conspirators

This Black History Month should be different. After enduring months of overlapping crises, from the COVID-19 pandemic to the uprisings against anti-Black racism to the White supremacist insurrection on January 6th, it’s beyond time for the nonprofit sector and philanthropy to commit to anti-racism, equity, and co-liberation. While we encourage folks to pause, rest, reflect, and learn, we also urge our non-Black co-conspirators in the sector to take action this month and beyond. We have organized a list of resources as a starting point. Read more here.

We are pleased to announce two open positions on the BMP national team: Senior Research Manager and Finance, Grants and Operations Manager. Learn more about the requirements and responsibilities for each role and how to apply here.

Re-Applying a Generational Lens

BMP’s Co-Director, Sean Thomas-Breitfeld, reflects on our previous work that led to this growing area of interest. Read more and share your thoughts here.
