Sign Up for the Movement Politics Academy
October 4, 2019 @ 8:00 am - October 27, 2019 @ 5:00 pm
From State Rep. Laurie Pohutsky:
I wanted to tell you about the Movement Politics Academy, of which I’m a proud alumnus. Two years ago I signed up not knowing what to expect, and to put it simply, it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
When I decided to run, no “political insiders” believed I had a chance. But I knew that we wanted to run a campaign on progressive values run on movement political organizing, not the same old business as usual tactics we often see.
At the Movement Politics Academy, I learned important skills like how to share my story, deep canvassing, and better fundraising tactics, each of which was invaluable to my campaign and essential in my victory. This year, the Academy is back and I would love it if more Movement Politicians would sign up and learn important tools and skills to help you win!
